The First Applicant does not directly address the amount of rent paid by him during the relevant period (despite the Directions requiring him to do so). The documents filed by him with his unsigned witness statement are not explained. If, as is presumably the case, those documents are meant to provide evidence of payments made by the First Applicant to the Respondent in respect of rent there is no explanation as to how they do that. There is no explanation as to the provenance of those documents. There is no explanation as to what those documents purport to show. Nor do the bank statements filed by the First Applicant with his application form assist.
