From the tribunal's reasons on the amount
The Applicant’s amended application was for a RRO for the rent paid from 25 January 2025 (the day after the date for compliance with the improvement notice) to the 3 August 2025. It was common ground that the rent was £600 per calendar month. This equates to £19.73 per day (£600 x 12 divided by 365). … He remained in occupation approximately five days, and the Tribunal was satisfied on the basis of the parties’ evidence that although the Applicant had agreed to pay rent to cover those additional days, he did not do so. … The period of his revised claim is, therefore, 6 months and 10 days, and maximum that a RRO could be made for this period is, therefore, £3,797.30, not the £3,800 claimed. … The Tribunal was satisfied that the Applicant had not been in receipt of housing benefit or universal credit housing costs element. It was also satisfied based on the agreed evidence from both parties that the Respondent did not pay for any services solely for the benefit of the Applicant. … When considering the seriousness of the offence, the Tribunal took into account that the improvement notice was served by the Council in relation to both category 1 and category 2 hazards. These included risks in relation to fire and falling which could have potentially very serious consequences. …
